In accordance with our quest to provide enhanced healthcare services, Dosty Pharmacy has also established a state of the art Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) training school which produces well equipped and skillful MCAs for the pharmaceutical industry.
The MCA Training School is dedicated towards ensuring that all students graduate with the requisite knowledge and skills to positively contribute to the success of pharmaceutical healthcare. Dosty MCA Training School has been in operation since 2010. The school has trained over 800 students and continues to impact knowledge to the next generation of MCAs. Dosty MCA training School is one of the best in the Greater Accra Region and in particular Tema.
Dosty MCA Training School is registered with and accredited by the Pharmacy Council, Ghana. Our students do not only participate in the external examination organized by Pharmacy Council, but also pass with flying colours. Dosty currently holds 100% success rate in the Pharmacy Council examination.
Dosty Pharmacy Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) Training School exists to motivate and challenge all students concerning the fact that our curriculum is driven by impartiality and the highest possible learning expectations. All learning experiences are academically rigorous and intend to prepare students for success in their career.
Dosty Pharmacy MCA Training School offers a six (6) months intensive training programme. The first three (3) months deals with the theoretical component of the programme. Students take in-depth courses in Dispensary, Stock Management, Pharmacy Management, Customer Service, Communication Skills, Human Relation, basic knowledge in ICT etc. The last three (3) months focus on the practical aspect (attachment). This equips students with practical knowledge and experiences required to be professionals. Attachments are available to students through established community pharmacies and hospitals.
